I'd been planning on mounting some lights to my zj's bumper. The original plan was to use L-brackets to make mounting points, but while I was picking up the IPF lights at Jeepers and Creepers in San Francisco James suggested that one of his TJ light bars might work.
The light bar is designed to be oriented as shown in this photo and bolted to the top of the bumper. You can mount a hi-lift on the bar, then put the light plate (in background) on top of that. Obviously this setup can't be mounted on the zj's bumper, but if you rotate the light bar 90 degrees it works fine. |
